Allergy Testing
For many people the term ‘allergy’ simply means sneezing when the pollen count is high or when near certain animals. The dictionary however defines it as an unusual sensitiveness to the action of particular foods, pollens etc.

Asthma, arthritis, eczema, hyperactivity, colitis, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine and unusual fatigue are just a few examples of how the body may react to the allergens. (Allergens are the substances, which cause allergies). This is not a new idea but one that was mentioned in the writings of Hippocrates ‘WE ARE WHAT WE EAT’.

Few people who have illnesses even consider that the food and chemicals they are eating are contributing to the way they feel as many food sensitivities are masked. Because the food causing the problem is eaten every day, the body’s reaction to food varies. Even though two people may be sensitive to milk, one may show eczema as the reaction whereas the other person may show it as a migraine. ‘ONE MAN’S MEAT IS ANOTHER MAN’S POISON’. Therefore everybody is an individual needing specific information about their body’s requirements. We are unique as individuals in every respect, in the making, in the allergy and in the reaction.

The method of testing we use is by the Dr. Reckeweg EAV machine, which was developed in Germany over twenty years ago. The test is completely painless as no needles are used and there are no side effects.

During the consultation, we test all the organs, vitamin and mineral levels; also Candida levels and amalgam fillings where applicable. We also test for virus, parasites environmental and food allergies. Any other substances that you may want to bring with you can be tested if it can be accommodated in a small glass bottle or dish.

The test is carried out in complete privacy and the results given to you as the test progresses. The machine will also advise on the correct homoeopathic medicine to take. You will be given diet sheets and advice on the results.

The allergist will then book a re-test for you if necessary for two weeks after your first appointment.
